In-Line Tours
The Elbe Cycle Route has a terrific surface for in-line skating. You can travel through Bad Schandau (24 km) to Germany and further to the city of Dresden (65 km) or all the way to Meissen (90 km). Or in the opposite direction to Ústí nad Labem (25 km).
To Germany
Hřensko – Bad Schandau – Königstein – Dresden - Meissen
Route length – 14 km (Hřensko) – 24 km (Bad Schandau, here you must use the bridge or ferry to cross the river) – 30 km (Königstein, here the route switches to the opposite bank, use another ferry, beyond Königstein there might be some uphill and downhill parts, as well as a varying quality of the surface) – 65km (Dresden, the cycle route is still on the left bank) – 90 km (Meissen)
There is a railway along this route, with stops at every few kilometres. You can buy the new ELBE LABE Ticket for 400 CZK for up to 6 people, which allows an entire day of travel by train, all the way to Dresden. Or we can wait for you with a car at the end of your trip.
To Ústí nad Labem
Route length – 25 km – "Sebuzín" – 35 km
Here you can see the Střekov Castle, that has charmed many famous artists in the past. The poets Goethe and Mácha, among others. Richard Wagner composed a poem here, which became the basis for the libretto of his opera, Tannhäuser.
